Scientific and Regulatory Advice

Gum Base Co.’s products normally comply with US FDA and EU requirements. Where other specific legislation exists, upon request, we can advise customers on compliance and supply the right gum base to comply with local requirements.

We monitor regulatory changes worldwide and we can provide updates on food legislation, from different sources, in most countries, regarding products, ingredients and other industrial developments.

Sensory Analysis

R&D team works closely with a Sensory Team to understand sensory performance of gum base and chewing gum products.

A trained Sensory Analysis Panel applies standardized and quantitative sensory methods to objectively evaluate product attributes that influence consumer perception. Sensory attributes are systematically identified, standardized, and quantified to objectively assess whether development targets have been achieved.
